Teaching the lesson Getting to Know Plants turned into a creative celebration when I introduced an exciting activity—making Ganesh idols using leaves!
With Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner, students got hands-on experience exploring different plant species while crafting beautiful eco-friendly idols. Each child carefully selected a variety of leaves, from the broad banana leaf to the delicate peepal, and proudly shared their names. The classroom buzzed with enthusiasm as creativity blended with learning, turning nature into art. This activity not only deepened their understanding of plants but also instilled an appreciation for sustainability and tradition.
