MIX AND MATCH: SOLUBLE VS. INSOLUBLE
Fun with solubility:class 6th experiment
On 9th August 2024, during my internship, I conducted a simple yet fun experiment with my 6th-grade students to explore soluble and insoluble substances.
We used chalk powder, sand, salt, sugar, and sawdust to see which would dissolve in water. The results were exciting:
Salt and Sugar: Dissolved completely (soluble).
Chalk Powder, Sand, and Sawdust: Did not dissolve (insoluble).
The students were thrilled to predict, observe, and record their findings. This activity made learning science enjoyable and helped them connect it to real life.
